Sir John C. UDEAGBALA is new NACCIMA President!

The National Associations of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) held its 61st Annual Conference at Aba - the Enyimba City. High point of the epochal gathering was the investiture of Ide Sir John C. Udeagbala NPoM, KSJ, as its 21st National President.

On the 29th and 30th of June 2021, the National Associations of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) held its 61st Annual Conference at Aba - the Enyimba City.

The high point of the epochal gathering was the investiture of Ide Sir John C. Udeagbala NPoM, KSJ as its 21st National President.

The event which took place at the main hall of the prestigious Aba Sports Club (1938) saw many business moguls and captains of industry from all over Nigeria converging on Aba - the Industrial cum Commercial hub east of the Niger.

The event which was organized and hosted by Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA) saw in attendance all the three regional Chambers of Commerce and their representatives,

The Immediate Past President of NACCIMA, Hajia Saratu Iya Aliyu;

The 1st Deputy President, Otunba Dele Oye; and the 2nd Deputy President, Alhaji Jani Ibrahim mni;

Past Presidents, Iyalode Alaba Lawson, MFR, FIoD, JP; and Chief Dr. Bassey Edem MFR, FCA;

The EXCO and Council members of NACCIMA;

The DG, Ambassador Ayo Olukanni;

The National Vice President, Prince T. K. Adetokunbo SAN;

Many Presidents and Executives of City, Regional and Affiliate Chambers;

The Chairman of the National Planning Committee, Chief Nabil Saleh;

The host Chamber (ACCIMA) President, Chief Lawrence Obetta, and his executives;

And many other dignitaries.

After his conferment as the 21st National President of the National Associations of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) on Wednesday, 30th June 2021, Ide Sir John C. Udeagbala, NPoM, KSJ, promised to deepen the Chamber’s engagements with government, the Organized Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN) and other stakeholders through advocacy. He pledged to further strengthen the chamber’s capacity to influence policies and decisions in favor of businesses.
